Franklin County Sheriff's Posse Rodeo

7H Memorial Ranch Rodeo features ranch events such as team doctoring, stray gathering, and maverick branding. The event aims to honor Carson Hick’s legacy and way of life while supporting the Carson Hicks Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Clay Mitchell Memorial Ranch Rodeo
Clay Mitchell, a 2013 Sulphur Bluff graduate, was known for his strong faith, love of rodeo, football, and his dedication to FFA. He tragically passed away in May 2014, just after completing the Ranch and Feedlot Operations program at Clarendon College. To honor his legacy, the Mitchell family and Sulphur Bluff FFA created a scholarship for local seniors. That same year, the Clay Mitchell Memorial Ranch Rodeo was launched by Mike Eason of Cross Spur Cowboy Church to help support and grow the scholarship fund.
